Purpose of the Position: The Channel Marketing Director leads Channel and Segment Activation for foodservice and industrial businesses, including segment and customer-directed insights. The individual identifies, develops, and directs the organization s channel and segment marketing strategies.

Channel & Segment Strategy Lead
Customer P&L Accountability
Custom Innovation Strategy & Process Management
Annual Business Planning
External Market and Channel Assessment
Internal Channel & Segment Assessment
Recommend Channel Strategies, Tactics & Execution Plan
Annual Plan Execution, including customer alignment, annual marketing calendar, key industry and customer events, and ongoing demand planning and forecasting
Monthly Business Review Reporting & Analysis
Manage Marketing and Insights Agencies to support business objectives
Directs Commercialization efforts to support customer-specific innovation
Overseas Sales Support & Customer Management
Customer Master Data Customer Data, & Custom Items Product Master Data
Manage SG&A Spending to meet budget objectives
Identifies opportunities for increased cross-functional alignment, and process optimization
Knowledge and Experience:
College degree - B.A. or B.S. with emphasis on Marketing, or Business Adminitration; an MBA is strongly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, across a diverse set of audiences.
Experience managing and developing a team
Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Excel
Strong attention to detail, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills, including experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Ability to influence and lead, without direct authority
