Follow the progress of the daily jobs to insure timeliness and prevent service failures
Communicate progress to all affected parties including coordinators, sales staff, risk management, office staff and accounting department
Communicate job scopes and details of jobs for each day to all contractors and/or hourly employees
Provide on-time support
Be available, even after hours, to assist contractors as well as the office
Provide training to personnel and contractors on proper workplace procedures
Provide accurate weights and keep account of all certified scale tickets along with money collected at time of sales
Ensure every encounter with internal and external customers meets expectations while exhibiting a positive, professional attitude and emphasizing our commitment to quality.
Take part in determining when training is needed to personnel and contractors on proper workplace procedures and ensure that it is completed in a timely manner
Maintain organization by accepting ownership of accomplishing new and different tasks and continue to explore opportunities to add value
Participate and cover responsibilities from other team members in times of need and participate on the rotating Saturday Schedule
Computer Skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, AS400, MicroSoft Office
Management of people with diverse backgrounds
Quality Management and the development of employee and work standards
Possess the ability to build relationships with customers and sales representatives. Able to respond to and resolve problems quickly
Equipment and Supply Management
Safety Management - employees, equipment and warehouse
