Primary duties of an Electrical Inspector are to inspect electrical power and communications construction work to ensure conformance with contract documents and all applicable codes and standards.
Work includes preparation of daily narrative reports, contractor time and material records, review contractor’s request for additional compensation, preparation of descriptions/reasons/estimates for change orders, verification of work in place quantities for contractor payment applications, coordination of construction work with facility operations and other stakeholders and ensuring the safety and quality of the work. Bachelor’s Degree or NICET Level II or III certification or a comparable combination of education and experience.
5+ years’ experience in construction inspection of electrical power and communications
Excellent Organizational and communication skills required.

OSHA 30 hour training
Experience working on NYC DEP Wastewater Treatment Plant construction projects
