JOB SUMMARY Vital member of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.# Responsible for cardiovascular technological procedures during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. # ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Independently prepares the CCL and equipment for procedures.# Operates all equipment independently, including digital recorders, pressure injectors, physiologic and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.# Monitors patient heart rhythms and pressures during catheterization.# Compiles test results for physician interpretation.# Functions in capacity of circulating assistant or scrub assistant as assigned.# Responsible for equipment and supply inventory. # MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Graduate of accredited program in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent.# # MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE Two years of experience preferred. # REQUIRED LICENSE, REGISTRY OR CERTIFICATION CPR, BLS, and ACLS required. # SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES REQUIRED Good communication and interpersonal skills.
