The Cadreon Controller is responsible for the integrity of the Cadreon Brand financial statements (including revenue recognition and reporting), timely and accurate submission of the monthly results, Income Statement and Balance Sheet Variance Commentaries to the US Controller / Network and ensuring compliance with US GAAP, SEC requirements and IPG Standard Policies and Procedures. He/she is also responsible for all local financial aspects of the Business Controls environment. The Local Controller is responsible for working capital management and compliance with IPG Treasury.
The Cadreon Controller, in conjunction with the Cadreon US CFO, works closely with client facing Senior Agency management to ensure that the day-to-day financial needs of the agency are being met and that systems and processes are in place to continue to improve reporting to Senior Agency Management and Network / IPG.
The Cadreon Controller, as leader of a finance/accounting team, supervises and provides direction for his/her direct reports and staff, along with some oversight of a wider on-site Finance team.
* Oversight of the overall revenue reporting process including appropriate persuasive evidence, review of revenue calculations, determination of revenue recognition methodology and all associated reporting inclusive of required revenue variance analysis. * Integrity of the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to the Network and ensuring compliance with US GAAP in particular with regard to revenue recognition, SEC requirements and Interpublic Standard Policies and Procedures * Integrity and accuracy of all local general ledger / sub-ledger accounts and reconciliations including liaising with shared-services in Omaha * Oversight of reconciliation amongst media systems * Business Controls compliance and formal documentation (including flowcharts), ensuring compliance is understood and executed throughout Cadreon * Coordinate working capital management amongst shared services and client finance team * Lead contact and reviewer for PwC external auditors re: quarterly / year end reporting and Business Controls compliance * Development and roll out of new policies and procedures including best practices * Ad hoc projects
* CPA preferred * 8-12 years professional experience including some Advertising or Media Industry experience * Management experience with professional staff in multiple locations * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Agency management and Network * SAP / Hyperion / Smartview knowledge preferred but not required, good Microsoft skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
