Description As the EDI EDIFECS Technical Lead you will provide lights-on support for B2B EDI Edifecs Healthcare application systems. You will analyze system failures, provide fixes, and coordinate with Network Teams, and others, to bring the systems back online.

Position Description
  • Configure EDI solutions, as per the provided specifications.
  • Analyze and fix system failures.
  • Respond to issues assigned, conduct analysis, suggest / implement workarounds, communicate to stakeholders, and close issues to ensure support availability, as per agreed SLAs.
  • Create test plans, configure, test, transition and support activities.
  • Interface with other internal teams and key stakeholders, and participate in knowledge management activities to ensure high quality deliverables, as defined by guidelines, policies and norms.

  • Basic Qualifications
  • Experience with Edifecs Healthcare suite, 8.3x, 9.x, and Healthcare Payer systems.
  • Able to configure the Edifecs tool, and understand systems integration, application, technical behavior, and business / technical requirements.
  • Experience with XEngine, XEngine Server, EAM, TM, SpecBuilder.
  • Understanding of EDI Healthcare transaction sets, e.g. 270/271, 834, 837 I/P/D, 835.
  • Knowledge of software development / implementation processes.
  • Able to explain technical solutions and fixes to stakeholders.
  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education. Candidate's that have completed a Master s degree program strongly preferred.

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with State or Federal agencies.
  • Master s Degree.

  • The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
