Position: OFSAA Analyst/SME Location: New York, NY Duration: 12- 18 months+ Should have experience with : OFSAA 4.5 or 6.1 customer profitability and funds transfer pricing The Bank is seeking a strong analyst to join its Technology or Strategy & Planning Department. This individual will be the primary point of contact for OFSAA for the Bank s IT, Strategy & Planning, Finance & Accounting and Treasury Departments. He or she will also work closely with our overseas OFSAA development and support vendor to coordinate development, testing, production and general support activities. The successful candidate will have a mix of business and technical skills gained within a Treasury or Finance business team. A background working across both business and IT disciplines is desirable. Primary Responsibilities: Work closely with Corporate Strategy & Planning in defining methodologies and standards for funds transfer pricing, activity based costing or cost allocations, capital attribution and expected loss for profitability analysis along line of business, customer and product dimensions. Production and analytical support to funds transfer pricing, cost allocations, capital allocations and expected loss across in profitability reporting. Defining metrics and new analytic functionality. Maintain OFSAA 6.1 configuration and processing rules. Develop, test and support SQL queries, primarily for the OFSAA database. OFSA and OFSAA table support to other downstream processes including ALCO and LCR. Participate in the reconciliation and data quality processes. Assist with user administration to ensure that appropriate system and object permissions are available to system users Candidate Qualifications: Deep proficiency with US funds transfer pricing ( FTP ) theory and practice using Oracle OFSA(A). Proficiency with US activity based costing ( ABC ) theory and practice using Oracle OFSA(A). Understanding of US capital allocations and expected loss ( EC and EL ) theory and practice using Oracle OFSA(A). Significant work experience with integrated line of business, product and customer profitability using Oracle OFSA(A). US regulatory accounting and Basel II, III and IV requirements including risk weighted assets ( RWA ). Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Proven propensity for accuracy and detail with ability to summarize and present at various levels of management and audience sophistication. Expertise in use of OFSA (Oracle Financial Services Application) software within a Treasury or Finance department. Experience in developing reports in Oracle Discoverer a plus. Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills and experience using them in a Treasury or Finance department. Oracle administration skills (indexing, analyzing, loading, optimizing, managing access and permissions) a plus. Familiarity with the Unix shell and use of Unix utilities to manipulate data files a plus. Ability to work to deadlines. About Iris Software Inc.
