Responsibilities

This position utilizes company software (Roadnet and/or Territory Planner) to optimize overall routed network to reduce hours and optimize fleet utilization while providing more consistent and reliable service to our customers.

This individual will also provide mentorship and training for the Shred Region and will facilitate audits to ensure the daily routed network is fully optimized and consistent routing methodology is adhered to.

This individual will work closely with the NAO Transportation Operations Support Team to drive continuity and establish appropriate channels to ensure proper communications and teamwork.

+ Work with Regional Shred Directors to develop a roadmap at the market level to optimize Iron Mountain's scheduled routing network. Ensure network is balanced and optimized. .

+ Work closely with each Transportation Manager's team to develop network while effectively communicating deliverables, expectations and timelines.

+ Partner closely with Customer Service, Sales Organization and Implementation Managers so we can effectively communicate any changes or impacts proactively to our customers.

+ Utilize Business Intelligence, fleet reports and financial documents to gather the necessary data to ensure projected results were delivered after the completion of the reroute. Quantify required resources to execute network. Communicate and track projected vs actual savings trend per market.

+ Performs routine route analysis for markets within the Region you oversee. Meet regularly with Transportation Manager, Supervisors and/or Routers to review status of daily routing. Mentor and develop routing teams through additional training classes, regularly scheduled meetings and route analyzes.

+ Utilize software and other systems to assist with special projects, new customer implementations or pricing exercises within the Region.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

+ Strong project management skills

+ Capable of bridging the gap between business needs and system solutions

+ Demonstrated proficiency in Roadnet dynamic routing utilization and Territory Planner usage. Use of, and/or experience with, similar routing software would be acceptable.

+ Knowledgeable of Territory Planner software. Use of, and or experience with, similar routing software acceptable.

+ Proficient in MS Office software with emphasis on Excel.

+ Proficient in SKP and Secure Base software. Knowledge of similar warehouse management systems acceptable.

+ Geographic knowledge of routing service preferred

+ Ability to compile and interpret analytical data and act independently in making workload and resource allocation decisions.

+ Commitment to follow through and complete assigned actions

+ Ability to facilitate productive meetings and committees
