The employer has been providing IT Consulting and Direct Hire Services to the Insurance, Financial, Communications, Manufacturing and Government sectors
  • Work as a partner with the Digital Thread Center of Expertise (COE) to:
  • Develop/integrate a reference architecture and tool chain for model-based systems engineering and model-based product development process (beyond the systems engineering \"V\")
  • Develop/integrate a reference architecture and tool chain for virtual factory modeling and integration of design automation for improved DfM
  • Incorporate a design-for-additive tool chain into the product development process
  • Develop an end-to-end product lifecycle functional digital master model, including \"as built\" and \"as maintained\" representations
  • Support flagship applications and deployments of these capabilities across the our client businesses
  • Serve as the senior representative of the Digital and IT organization in the Digital Thread COE
  • Lead the industrialization and business deployment across our client of the tools coming out of the Digital Thread COE
  • Mobilize Digital and IT resources as appropriate to support the Digital Thread COE

Qualifications:

  • Breadth and depth of knowledge of relevant tools landscape, including modern engineering PLM/CAD tools (e.g., Dassault, Siemens, PTC), model-based design tools (e.g., Simulink, Modelica, SysML), and MES/ERP systems (e.g., Dassault, Siemens, SAP)
  • Existing professional network of relationships with many of the above technology vendors
  • Solid grasp of principles of model-based design/model-based systems engineering
  • Experience with integration of engineering tools
  • Experience with integration of manufacturing environments
  • Action oriented and results driven with an ability to drive new and innovative solutions in alignment to the organizations / functions strategy.
  • Ability to clearly and succinctly communicate with key business partners is critical, including senior executives.
  • Successful track record in managing digital technologies for innovation focused on research oriented organizations
  • Strong technical background with practical experience in the areas digital technologies and related infrastructures (i.e. cloud, mobility...)
  • Deep understanding of engineering processes (i.e. Agile...) and collaborative development tools
  • Successful track record in deploying best-in-class practices in cyber security, credentialing, data loss prevention
  • Experience with or understanding of business services

Education:

  • Master degree in information technologies, preferably computer science or related field with a minimum of 10 years' relevant work experience
