- Provide day-to-day network engineering and operational support for classified network infrastructure. - Work on network related projects and report progress to customer. - Recommend solutions for new equipment, software, network configuration, design, and management to include the detail, specification, hardware components, and part numbers. - The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter. They will possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team with little direct supervision.


Must have a Bachelor's degree and two (2) or more years of experience performing or supporting the following: - High speed networks and multi-casting - Shared storage via SANs and NASs, including specific experience with Dell, HP, and/or EMC hardware - Providing guidance and direction to the developers and test team members in interfacing program components to the development and test networks - Assisting IA personnel regarding network security and SSP maintenance - Ensuring network configuration meets all IA requirements - Installation and integration of all network components - Supporting/maintaining/administering program networks and servers - Monitoring network performance Should be familiar with the following: - Cisco LAN switches (for example, 3000 , 2500, 3600 and 7500 series routers; and Catalyst 3500 and 6500 series switches; Cisco PIX series firewalls, Cisco NetRanger IDS, and CiscoWorks 2000 management suite), or Brocade Ethernet switches (such as 648 or FESX448) , or Arista switches (such as 7000 series). - Resolving complex network problems, and operating network analyzers, WAN test equipment, and network simulators. - Implementing 10 GbE, Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, terminal servers, and NTP servers. Performing network security architecture, design, and integration on UNIX, NT, or other O/S configurations. This position requires a Top Secret/SCI security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of polygraph. Clearance and polygraph processing will be completed by the U.S. Government. Factors considered for a U.S. Government Security Clearance include, but are not limited to: - U.S. Citizenship (Required) - Favorable Criminal History Check - Education Verification - Abuse/Illegal Drug Use - Credit Check - Subject Interview
