Position Summary:

The primary focus of the HRIS Manager is to support the maintenance of the human resources information system, ADP, in addition to other systems supported by the HRIS team. The HRIS Manager will support initiatives aimed at ensuring quality, consistency, and integrity of HR data across all systems, as well as efficient execution of workflows and related business processes. This incumbent will also serve as the project lead for HRIS-related initiatives and develop HR statistical and analytical reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure the HRIS to respond to the data needs of the department and agency
  • Generate a variety of ad hoc and scheduled reports for metrics, compliance, and other agency data needs
  • Responsible for ensuring data integrity and security of data through ongoing data audits and analysis Oversee the processing of employee status change transactions (new hires, status changes, separations) through the HRIS ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with applicable policies and procedures. Proactively advise HR Leadership of any process, data or system concerns
  • Working closely with HR Leadership and Payroll to systematically improve workflow processes
  • Assists in the review, testing, and implementation of system design changes based on regulatory and/or business needs
  • Develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation and conducts trainings for staff as needed
  • Develops and maintains HR dashboard
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required along with a minimum offive years experience utilizing an HRIS system, preferably ADP, to respond to the informational needs of the agency
  • Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal skills characterizedwiththe ability to communicate facts and opinions accurately
  • Ability to compile quantitative and qualitative information for HR metrics, analysis and reporting
  • Ability to prioritize work appropriately and complete work accurately, thoroughly and within deadlines
  • Demonstrate consistent attention to detail.
