SUMMARY:

Provide administrative, clerical and program support for JCC Association's Sheva Center for Innovation in Early Childhood Jewish Education

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

* Act as welcoming presence and first point of contact for the Sheva Center
* Perform administrative and clerical functions, organize and prioritize correspondence, reports and calls
* Prepare, draft, edit and distribute correspondence, presentations, spreadsheets and memos, including mass mailings using mail merge
* Schedule and organize events such as meetings, domestic and international travel, hotels, conferences and other departmental activities
* Act as administrative liaison with JCCs, other JCC Association departments and outside agencies for matters related to the Sheva Center
* Organize all large group learning for Sheva including live streaming, Sheva talks, etc
* Process expense reports and departmental invoices in an accurate and timely manner, and in accordance with accounting procedures
* Work independently and within a team on special non-recurring and ongoing projects, development and coordination
* Administrative support for series of virtual learning sessions
* Resource development for JCCA.ME, the company intranet
* Maintain and update departmental filing and \"listserv\" systems
* Attend to the orders and shipping of curricular materials and merchandise
* General support, creation of materials, etc.
* Assist with other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree
* Strong organizational skills and administrative experience
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and be attentive to details, and handle simultaneous responsibilities, and meet deadlines
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Desire to be a thought partner for innovative programs
* Ability to anticipate and react to projects as they arise
* Ability to own projects through completion
* Excellent written and proofreading skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in online communication platforms and new media
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
