Primary Responsibilities Operates imaging equipment to assist the radiologist in diagnosis of disease.Performs mammography exams, screening and diagnostic studies, and assists during invasive procedures. Essential Functions Explains procedure to the patient, obtains complete and accurate history relevant to the examination to be performed.Positions the patient for the mammographic procdure.Operates imaging equipment in accordance with imaging modality processes and dept and hospital policies.Assists radiologists as needed (i.e. invasive procedures).Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital. Graduate of approved ARRT program. Must obtain ARRT Mammography Certification within one year of hire. Licensing Requirements ARRT Basic Life Support (BLS) Experience Requirements New graduates accepted. Six months to one year of post registry preferred. First week 2 days a week, oppositite week 3 days a week, flexible hours. Rotating campuses to include, Center City, Methodist, and Navy Yard.
