SUMMARY: The Facilities cleaning person should have a background in the commercial cleaning area. Preferably a high-end hotel, corporate office or resort type facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Performs routine custodial duties, limited grounds maintenance and minor repair work.
  • Reports needs for major/ minor repairs to Facilities Lead.
  • Reports needs for custodial supplies to Facilities Lead.
  • Must assist in maintaining security of all buildings and property.
  • Assists in the checking and reporting of safety hazard
  • Must be familiar with cleaning solutions and their proper use. Understands principles of MSDS
  • Bi-lingual a plus (English and Spanish).
  • Must be familiar with all tools of the trade.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in heat and sun for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work shifts, overtime and any day of the week as required.
  • Must be able to identify and report materials needs.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in related field.

    • LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    English/Spanish

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: General math skills are required

    REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Handles complaints with tact and diplomacy

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Proof of ability to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to pass an FAA required 10-yer background check and a 7 year criminal check
