OverviewThe Retail & E-Commerce Marketing Manager is responsible for tailoring 360? marketing campaigns for Oribe's Retail & E-Commerce partners, and identifying white space opportunities to drive sales in this channel.The role acts as the conduit between Sales and Marketing to drive the successful execution of Retail & E-Commerce marketing activities.Overall mission is to:Develop and implement channel specific strategy and programs.Steer and monitor market performance.Responsibilities* Collaborate closely with channel owners to develop and implement 360? programs to support Oribe Hair Care in the Retail & E-Commerce channel.* Translate global brand vision into salon specific strategies for the brand.* Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development to align on all new product launches and commercial launches.* Translate global launch plans and brand calendar into specific launch plans and calendars.* Gather business intelligence on category market trends and share best practices.* Innovate the consumer experience across all retail & e-commerce touchpoints with a strong focus on trial.* Develop mix of tactics that strengthens brand relevance, meets sales goals and is consistent with brand strategies.* Lead communication between Marketing and Sales -- facilitate and lead calls and meetings, and work to build consensus and alignment across departments.* Collaborate with Sales on presentations for meetings and Market Week activities.* Represent Marketing at retailer meetings, events, and site visits.* Drive and project manage the creation and distribution of Retail & E-Commerce selling materials (presentations and products used to sell in new launches, business development tools, prospecting materials) through collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Education, etc.* Drive and project manage the creation and distribution of Retail & E-Commerce assets (imagery, signage, displays, banners, emails, etc) through collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Education, etc.* Collaborate with Retail & E-Commerce channel leadership on promotions and incentives that drive the business. Review and approve all promotions, buy-ins, and incentives.* Collaborate with Retail & E-Commerce team on sample box partnerships to determine and negotiate sampling & merchandising mix, marketing focus, and campaign support.* Act as presenter/facilitator with Sales team when needed.* Maintain activation and launch calendars and trackers.* Organize and maintain Dropbox of Sales resources.* Track performance of initiatives against KPI's or comparable benchmarks. Consolidate performance and report to key stakeholders.* Steer Marketing to develop initiatives that fit channel needs and provide Marketing with launches performance analysis.* Collaborate with all necessary internal and external departments (Marketing, Sales, Education, Finance, Product Development, Supply Chain).Qualifications* 5+ years related experience. Bachelors degree is required.* Highly organized and detail oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and take complete ownership of projects.* Must have ability to think strategically and to conceptualize and implement new ideas.* Strong analytical skills and problem solving capabilities.* Ability to identify, prioritize and adjust to multiple needs.* Excellent cross-functional coordination and project management skills.* Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and team building capabilities with internal functional groups as well as with external partners.* Marketing experience within beauty, Prestige/Luxury industry a plus.* Must possess excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
