If so, the Widia Sales Engineer internship is perfect for you The Widia Sales Engineer internship is an exciting 10-week opportunity designed to building up skills and knowledge to perform as a Sales Engineer in a customer facing role. The intern will have exposure to working with Sales Engineers in a territory, Marketing, Manufacturing and Sales Operations in various customer interactions. Widia Sales Engineer Intern Responsibilities include: Shadow and assist field Sales Engineers Attend product, sales and application trainings and programs indicated by management Assist Marketing, Operations and Internal Sales Team remote activities, such as introductory calls and remote meetings for presentations and demos Promote products and services; influence the product selection by pushing & driving campaigns & promotions, stocking orders, product launches & specific deals Commercial and technical support of distributors & end users Share weekly activity reports highlighting lessons learned Internship Requirements: Pursuing a bachelor's or associates degree or similar qualification in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or relevant field In depth understanding of the metal cutting or precision tooling industry This role requires the ability to fully understand and apply technical solutions to customers in a machining environment Other Requirements: Self-motivated and can take the initiative to drive results Ability to effectively balance strong technical skills with solid relationship-building capabilities Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills Strong problem-solving skills Collaborative and client focused attitude and approach Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery Equal Opportunity Employer
