Job Description

Our Opportunity:

We are currently looking for a Operations Specialist in our corporate office that will facilitate order fulfillment, repairs and shipping procedures between stores, clients and the office

How you will contribute:

The candidate will work within the Operations Team and will be responsible for the following activities:

Posting all orders provided by Sales Managers into in to the system, pulling merchandise when creating invoices and memo documents, and prepare merchandise for delivery

Calculate shipping cost, value, and prepare shipping and generate shipping labels for mailing

Prepare merchandise for trunk shows and department store counters

Work with Pomellato S.p.A. in entering and sending purchase orders.

Coordinate shipping and delivery dates with merchandise from S.p.A

Work with Customer Service Department at S.p.A for repairs, including approval of cost, delivery, and shipping.

Prepare documents for temporary exports for Italy and organizing operational needs with outside carrier/vendors

Organizing shipping and receiving of carnet inventory

Collect and verify all jewelry returns

Work with Marketing, Sales and HR for consignment jewelry and loaned merchandised

Quality control inspection on all merchandise received

Inventory control:

Organize security checks and restocking of the merchandise storage

Check all merchandise received from Italy and enter into system

Track items out on consignment for specific accounts as assigned by Operations Manager

Logging in and out of all packages, both received and sent.

Aid in counting for all inventories with the Operations Manager

Customer Service:

Communicating issues and questions to various corporate departments (specifically, Wholesale and Retail), sales managers, and stores

Answering questions via telephone inquiries

Restock packing and shipping supplies

Coordinate repairs, including shipping and deliveries, and do minor polishing as necessary.

Filing, including copies of invoices and papers associated with duty drawbacks. Assist with duty drawbacks as required.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Who you are:

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor degree preferred

Oral and written communication skills

Experience with customer relations,

Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.

Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment.

Knowledge in Italian, a plus
