  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.

  2. 5 years of appropriate work experience.

  3. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  4. Capable of fulfilling the general responsibilities expected of Accountant I and II.

  5. 3 years' experience managing employees.


  1. Sound knowledge and ability to use Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) systems.

  2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or MBA.



  1. Strong analytical skills.

  2. Ability to work with suite of Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Microsoft Excel.

  3. Demonstrate strong written/oral communication skills and attention to details.

  4. Strong initiative and the ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills.

  5. Ability to administer accounting workflows and general ledger entry.

  6. Ability to identify the need for, and accurately prepare, routine management reports.

  7. Ability to effectively manage people and operational processes.

  8. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.


  • Manage the monthly general ledger closing process including the reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and appropriate income statement accounts.
  • Responsible for accurate accounting of all fixed assets, depreciation calculations, asset dispositions, etc.
  • Work with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
  • Prepare monthly financial report package.
  • Coordinate and assist with Treasury functions and cash flow management
  • Assist with tax and compliance matters as required.
  • Systematically manage the collection of accounts receivable.
  • Track, analyze and manage performance of all business units and projects (plan vs. actual, income statement, forecasts, etc.)
  • Provide monthly analysis of financial results including explanation for fluctuations.
  • Assist with developing and monitoring account policies and internal controls.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute ad hoc reports and financial models.
  • Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
  • Support Chief Financial Officer and other requests as required.


Manage subordinate employees or contractors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
