Interpret all TSA program requirements related to IAC activities including Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) covering transportation by air and all security sections, and be able to guide branches related to air cargo security questions, in alignment with operational processes and best practices
Implement new TSA directives in alignment with US Air Cargo management teams
Support branches with external TSA audits including corresponding with TSA officials, conduct and follow up internal TSA compliance audits including required corrective actions
Work with stakeholders such as systems and process managers, air freight managers, QSHE, NAM airfreight management team
Process Security Threat Assessment, including collection and verification of data, as well as record keeping, including STAs of directors
Train Kuehne + Nagel staff in TSA requirements and processes
Be trained in all TSA requirements and stay up to day for deployed cargo screening technologies
Identify training needs and work with all parties to ensure the required training is completed
Manage authorized representatives to ensure accurate and complete set up s are in place
Identify systems needs, define requirements and work with super users, trainers, process managers to implement new requirements
Manage other supporting systems and certifications, such as Safety Act Certification
Implement and communicate the known shipper program requirements, KSMS, and related updates
Keep TSA related KNet and myKN pages updated

Dangerous Goods Compliance
Act as US dangerous goods (DG) safety advisor
Responsible to establish US DG processes and protocols in compliance with IATA and DOT regulations, as well as Kuehne + Nagel QSHE and airfreight DG guidelines
Create and update guidelines / working instructions for cargo / process flows including the gateway
Gap analysis of existing processes and closing of gaps
Implementing systems processes related to DG compliance as well as transitioning workload to the shared services center
Working closely with QSHE to ensure DG compliance (frequent guideline review, advising on audit items, participating in global calls)
Working with branches and QSHE to ensure Security Plans for HCDG (high consequence) are in place
Monitoring DG movements across US, special emphasis on HCDG, prohibited DG, correct AirLOG system utilization
Staying up-to-date with DG regulatory requirements related to air cargo
Branch training in KN US DG protocols and processes
Managing DG incidences with respective authorities (such as FAA) and guiding branches with corrective actions
Identifying and driving industry initiatives related to DG (such as eDGD, eDG Checks)
Reporting of DG projects, incidences, status updated to management
Other DG compliance related topics as they are being identified
Other occasional project assignments Your Skills and Experiences At least 3 years operational background in airfreight industry
Must demonstrate excellent organizational and effective communicative skills.
Must be able to work with up to date systems and software
Must be detail oriented and able to analyze data and reports
Should have project management/implementation experience
Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple implementations/projects in various stages and at one time
Must have advanced MS Office application knowledge
Must be willing and able to travel
