Position: Operative (Level 2)

POSITION SUMMARY / FACTS

The primary purpose of the role is to effectively process customer orders while adhering to all company and department Policies, Procedures and Processes.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES

1.

Ensure all customer orders are processed accurately and expediently while maintaining all SOPs for all key aspects of the operation.

* Picking Orders
* Packing Orders
* Quality Assurance
* Shipping Orders
* Receipt of deliveries
* Inventory replenishment and checks

2.

Maintain operational areas to the required standard through daily, weekly and monthly housekeeping.

3.

Monitor packing materials to ensure targets are achieved.

4.

Provide support as required to new and temporary staff.

* Feedback to Department Manager

5.

Offer Operational support as required for the Department and wider Operation, including Kit production, Order Processing, Receiving, Shipping, E-commerce.

6.

Provide feedback to your direct Line Manager regarding procedures and processes.

7.

Process customer consignments for shipping.

* Accurately Scan and Palletize consignments using hand held scanners.
* Identify missing cartons, weight issues and no reads.
* Follow optimal shipping and palletization requirements to reduce loss.

POSITION PRE-REQUISITES - PERSON SPECIFICATION

(eg qualifications, experience etc.)

Warehouse Operations experience in a warehouse of a similar size

Computer literacy to Beginner level

Able to work to deadlines while under pressure

Must have a high level of attention to detail

Must be certified to use an Electric Jack and Rider Jack.
