Job Duties/Responsibilities
Supervise a team of 25-30 phlebotomists covering several Patient Service Centers
Manage patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs
Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary
Report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues
Interact with the clients on a regular basis
Resolve any client related matters or customer complaints
Assist in the setup of new Patient Service Centers
Hire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positions
Perform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraises
Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and clients
Perform, collect and prepare specimens when needed
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed


High school diploma or equivalent

Spanish Speaking

Associates or Bachelor's degree is a plus

Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory position

Previous experience in the healthcare field

Knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques

Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is plus

Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

Comfortably working under minimal supervision

Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable

Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm) and weekends when needed
