The Solution Architect works closely with the Lionbridge sales team and their customers to define, create, and present creative solutions. This position takes a leadership role in mapping Lionbridge s service offerings to specific customer requirements, with a particular focus on Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) services.

You will be a member of the Global Solution Team. This team is collectively responsible for developing solutions that meet client expectations for technical competency, process innovation, cost savings, as well as ensuring that their global content remains on brand and resonates with the audience they are targeting. By analyzing customer requirements, you will identify market trends and opportunities to propose and deliver innovative, value-driving new solutions.

Responsibility:

  • Engage and consult with customers and sales people to gather customer requirements
  • Demonstrate Lionbridge technology solutions and platforms
  • Define solutions that leverage Lionbridge capabilities to address client needs
  • Coordinate the efforts of internal subject matter experts to present client solutions
  • Develop proposals and pricing models for complex or innovative solutions
  • Create financial models to substantiate the proposed solution.
  • Participate in discovery meetings and present solutions to our customers
  • Requirements:

  • 4+ years experience in Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in Solution Development, Pre-sales Support or Global Project Management
  • Deep understanding of Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) processes
  • Knowledge of Localization and Globalization processes a plus
  • Excellent communication and customer presentation skills
  • Strong business acumen and ability to see the big picture
  • Experience working with and leading geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams
  • Excellent project management, organizational and time management skills
  • Financial analysis/modeling skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel approx. 3-5 business days per month
  • Knowledge of and sensitivity to multi-lingual and multi-cultural issues
  • Must be highly motivated, creative, proactive and solution-oriented
