In this dynamic role, the candidate will join the Wilmington Trust Institutional Client Services Marketing and Communications team and manage the marketing and communications strategy for the Retirement Advisory business segment. This role will be responsible for the creation and execution of coordinated marketing programs, which include sales support material development, advertising, sponsorships, events, and rich online and offline content. The role will partner with marketing colleagues and business leadership within Collective Investment Trusts and Collateral Management, as well as the M&T Commercial Bank.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the team in developing and executing annual marketing plans aligned with the core business objectives. This includes strategic and tactical elements of the plan as well as financial /budgetary elements.
Inspire and lead colleagues through the conceptualization, development, execution, and evaluation of innovative marketing programs consistent with the annual marketing plan. This may include major integrated marketing campaigns as well as other small programs that leverage online, offline, website, internal communications, content development, events, direct communications, and other marketing channels or tactics.
Monitor the effectiveness of marketing programs to achieve a constant state of testing, identifying insights and learnings, and then improving your programs.
Maintain regular constructive relationships and dialogue with senior leadership and key colleagues within the businesses, , Commercial, Business Bank and Wealth Advisory partners as well as with your Marketing & Communications Division colleagues and leadership team.
Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Design, implement, maintain and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.NATURE AND SCOPE:

Director of other individuals within our Center of Excellence to help bring to bear the full power of the Marketing & Communications Division.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent in work experience or in lieu of degree, 4 years work experience.
A minimum of 7 years experience managing a marketing function.
Desirable work experience in the Retirement Plan or Financial Services Industry
Mastery of the MS Office suite including PowerPoint and ExcelIDEAL QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:
