Designed from the ground up as an industry platform open to all players, we bring together all parties in the supply chain to drive true information sharing, increase collaboration and foster trust.Together - we can move the industry forward.Key ResponsibilitiesContract Review and Management Provide support on client agreements, including assisting in the review, negotiation and drafting process. Ensures that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness. Participate in contract review sessions as needed/required. Develop and modify contract templates to suit business and customer needs. Ensure proposed changes receive appropriate review and approval. Assists in the development and maintenance of a contract database and recommend improvements to contract templates. Summarize contractual terms, and other business and legal matters, and respond to contract inquiries and requests. Review, draft and/or negotiate various other legal documents.Corporate Secretarial & Corporate Governance Perform routine legal research, compiling data, charts, legal research and reports as required. Maintain portfolio of permits/licenses including tracking key dates. Assist with corporate filings.Compliance and Regulatory Support Provide time-sensitive support to the teams by responding to inquiries; including, but not limited to, inquiries regarding general legal guidelines, policies and specific contracts. Assist in coordinating projects and implementing legal initiatives. Perform other special assignments, strategic projects, or duties as needed.Who we are looking for? Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management or technology related field 3+ years' paralegal experience working with contracts, with a strong preference for prior experience in a corporate legal department Experience with legal principles - preferably in the areas of contract law, intellectual property or technology. Must have skills suitable for understanding technology related agreements. Experience drafting and negotiating agreements - preferably in the information technology field, either in-house or with a law firm - or demonstrated capability to develop same. Experience with a contract management system preferred. experience is a plus. Advanced-level professional competency in written and spoken English language is required Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills with ability to communicate professionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally Keen attention to detail and strong proofreading skills. Highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, autonomous, creative, efficient, and resourceful with strong follow-through skills. Strong work ethic and sense of professionalism and discretion, demonstrating accountability, integrity, good judgment, and respect for confidentiality. Experience demonstrating ability to work on own, to take initiative and to ask questions when necessary. Ability to control a high volume and complex work load by prioritizing work flow; ability to meet deadlines with a minimum of direct supervision.
