As a Lead Massage Therapist at our Cambridge Memorial Drive l ocation,* you'll lead a team that's passionate about helping people feel their best through total body care. Your example to your team will:

Modeling exceptional customer service skills for the entire clinic staff to emulate.
Set the tone for the therapeutic staff and is responsible for maintaining a positive work environment by fielding therapist's complaints and facilitating solution oriented discussions.
Conduct evaluations and facilitates trainings for massage therapist staff & related service providers
Mentor therapeutic staff in respectful and honest manner effectively communicating and helping to create habits of success for every therapist.

Duties will include, but not limited to the following:
May be called upon to assist in conducting interviews, write incident reports and/or hire or terminate therapists.
Creates the bridge between the bodywork professionals and the front staff.
May attend recruiting events.
May be involved in creating incentive programs for service providers.
May be asked to recruit staff with management approval.
May be asked to attend regional team building events outside of our clinic scope.
Maintains a bridge among the bodywork professionals, front staff, and management.
Meet with the owner & other managers as needed for scheduled meetings & on an as needed basis.
Available to perform a schedule of massage therapy

What it Takes to Succeed:

We only succeed together, so we're looking for a leader with the passion and experience to be amazing. Must haves for this role are:

  • A well-skilled professional who meets the licensing requirements for massage therapy in our state and is able to pass a background and reference check with flying colors.
  • One who has a thirst to lead a team of professionals and maintain success with in a team environment, seeking continuing education opportunities for you and your team to build on their modality masteries (which must include Swedish and deep tissue massage
  • A clear communicator who can effectively identify and communicate solutions for each client's needs as well as each team member's needs, set clear expectations, and stay connected whether with a client throughout a session to achieve the goals of each service or a team member who needs mentoring to achieve his or her goals.
  • A total body care champion who can lead your team to recommend follow-up visits and additional services and products as needed to help clients pursue their wellness goals.
  • Be a leader as well as a team player who shows up on time ready to jump in wherever needed to get the job done.
  • Be a contributing member of a strong management team consisting of yourself, an operation manager, uint managers and clinic owner.
