We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) for the newly forming inpatient-based procedure team. The APP will perform procedures including, but not limited to, bone marrow aspirations and biopsies, penicillin skin testing, and other procedures as the team expands. Responsibilities may also include providing clinical support to the inpatient primary services as determined by procedure volume and operational needs. This is a great opportunity to be part of a new institutional team!
Qualifications needed for a PA candidate are:
* Graduate from an accredited PA program
* NCCPA certification
* Active NYS license or be qualified for state license
* BLS & ACLS certification
Qualifications needed for an NP candidate are:
* Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
* Master's degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
* Related National NP certification
* BLS & ACLS certification
The ideal candidate for this position is experienced in performing procedures and knowledgeable of inpatient care and workflows.
Hours: 12 hour days, flexed to operational needs.
