Job Description

Do you have an enthusiasm for leading change by linking analytics to action? We have an exciting new opportunity for a Manager who will lead the HR Reporting & Analytics function here at MSK. With a team of analysts, you will help us to transform our reporting and analytic capabilities. By using MSK HR data, we want you to build and take ownership of our report development and delivery strategy. Through close partnerships with key partners, you will drive business and process improvements. You will ensure the team works in partnership across HR centers of excellence and business units to design, analyze and implement reports that create transparency; enabling us to provide strategic insights that \"tell a story\" about human capital at MSK.

Functioning as a consultant and an advisor to leaders across the enterprise, we want you to influence leaders to make decisions with the effective use of human capital data. Enthusiasm and a passion for linking analytics to action are fundamental to the role; as is the ability to communicate this passion in a consultative way to all partners.


* Design and implement the HR Road Map for reporting, analytics and advanced analytics platforms to provide HR operational, strategic and tactical metrics for the Center.
* Determine the strategy to evolve HR Analytics maturity level from descriptive to diagnostic reporting, predictive analytics to proscriptive outcomes
* Develop and own the HR data architecture strategy and implementation plan
* Collaborate with individuals in HR and across the Center to develop insights that make valuable contributions; provide advisory services in support of strategic objectives, planning and executive review
* Evaluate industry developments, market trends to conduct in-depth benchmarking, company and market trend research
* Play a key role in establishing a center wide HR Data Governance Program
* Work closely with the HR Organization to understand the needs of the business and create new opportunities to maximize the value from analytics & reporting
* Streamline workflows to craft efficiencies and actively develop ways to improve reporting, analysis and operational support.
* Lead a team of Workforce Analysts to ensure prioritization and timely delivery of requests, data accuracy and consistency. Coach, develop and strengthen their skills while delegating and reviewing work.
* Lead the implementation of reporting, dashboards and data analyses based on the capabilities of an integrated human capital system (i.e., Workday) and historical data stored in our data warehouse

* A multitasker, able to prioritize and organize multiple complex projects concurrently while meeting required deadlines and hitting cost and quality expectations


* Bachelor's degree required in related field
* An advanced degree in an area related to data Analytics (Industrial Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Data Sciences, and Business Administration) strongly preferred
* Minimum 8 years related work experience, or 12+ years instead of Bachelor's degree
* Significant experience in data, reporting, analytics, and strategy
* Proven experience partnering with teams to drive critical outcomes
* Demonstrated experience working in a dynamic, matrixed organization with executive exposure
* Superior analytical, quantitative and data modeling skills
* An ability to develop and manage projects or process change
* Strong data expertise: understanding of data architecture, modeling, transformation, governance and management skills.
* A proficiency in Workday or similar human capital management systems highly preferred
* Experience in operational and technical strategy design for a customer or people support function
