**Department:** 43010_10294 Med/Surg Unit 2A **Expected Weekly Hours:** 37.5 **Shift:** 12 Hour Night Shift **Position Purpose:** **Job Description Details:** **JOB PURPOSE:** + The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for implementing the nursing process in the care of stable post-critical care adult and geriatric patients, to include patients who have undergone open heart surgery, cardiac intervention, and/or patients with complex cardiac care needs requiring ongoing monitoring. The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the effectiveness of care and patient teaching.
