Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Interpret financial goals and operate asset in owners' best interest in accordance with Policies & Procedures Manual
  • Maintain accurate records of all community transactions and submit on timely basis (i.e., rent rolls, delinquency reports, move-in/move-outs, etc.)
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, as required
  • Ensure that all rents and late fees/check charges are collected, posted and deposited in a timely manner
  • Generate necessary legal action, documents and process in accordance with State and Company guidelines
  • Provide constant vendor/contractor communications concerning billing and certificates of insurance
  • Ensure that A/P invoices are reviewed, job costed, and checks are prepared for payment
  • Ensure that all related accounting functions have been reviewed and completed i.e. bank reconciliation, payroll time sheets etc...
  • Prepare and implement procedures and systems within company guidelines to ensure orderly, efficient workflow
  • Waive or deviate from established policies and procedure for the betterment of the property
  • Confirm all leases and corresponding paperwork are completed and input to software system accurately and on a timely basis
  • Ensure current resident files are properly maintained
  • Ensure all administrative paperwork is accurate, complete and submitted on a timely basis
  • Process leasing commission requests
  • Respond and resolve resident account concerns, complaints and requests in a timely manner to ensure resident satisfaction


The ideal candidate will have:
  • Residential Property Accounting experience
  • Yardi accounting experience
  • 3+ years of accounting experience in a real estate setting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Very strong communication skills
