As Scientific Director, your responsibilities will include content development of CE activities; work with freelancers, authors and faculty on development of scientific content; integration of comments and changes; timely and optimal execution of CE activities; and gather necessary medical and scientific information for the development of grant needs assessments. You will have an active role in strategic medical education planning and serve as pharmacy scientific expert. Individual to participate as a member of the Pharmacy Times CE team.. Responsibilities:. Writing and editing and/or working with freelancers/faculty on CE documents. Quality: working within quality standards (on budget, on time, accurate). Independently handles a wide range of projects, including some complex projects. Excellent writing and editing skills: ability to create a work product that requires minimal review. Independent execution with respect to content and strategy. Performing research (literature searches and reviews, ). Analyzing and accurate interpretation of clinical data. Capable of independent analysis and interpretation of data. Understanding of evidence-based medicine within relevant therapeutic areas. Understanding and application of scientific and clinical concepts. In-depth understanding of multiple therapeutic areas or transferable skills applicable to multiple therapeutic areas. Strategy and client services/communication. Communicate with team members about project status and strategy. Participation in conference calls with clients, faculty, authors as guided. Minimum Required Education And Experience:. Pharm D or other advanced degree. Understanding of the CME/CPE requirements. Pharmacy residency and Managed care experience recommended.
