Shipping Coordinator

The Shipping Coordinator for Moncler USA will serve as primary liaison between US, Italy and all wholesale clients to maintain receipt flow of shipments and delivery of orders.This person will communicate with warehouse partners to monitor inventory levels, production and ensure timely delivery of goods. This position will report to the Vice President of Wholesale and support the Wholesale team in coordination of the men's, women's and children's collections.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Review, analyze and correct all discrepancies from Purchase Orders received from Sales
* Communicate with the Wholesale team and clients on production projections
* Manage and track all delivery updates on a weekly basis for North America using the inventory and shipping tracking system, Stealth
* Liaison daily with Logistics team in Italy and report clients with UPC catalogs, EDI transmissions and ensure all electronic records are accurate
* Monitor US and Italian warehouse inventory-levels, production and ensure delivery of goods
* Ensure warehouse has proper tools for shipping (including hangers, bags, etc.)
* Oversee freight forwarding with warehouse partners and provide shipping updates each month to wholesale team
* Manage order process for US Department stores, US Specialty stores and Canadian retail stores and confirm all orders entered
* Upload UPC catalogue for wholesale team and clients
* Ensure allocation and receipt of goods; process customs clearance
* Process 'Pick Tickets', track shipments and provide PODs if needed
* Ensure all vendor set up information for all EDI department store accounts
* Report on sales information for US/Canadian clients with returns, charge backs, cancellations, replacements and reorders
* Obtain and evaluate all the relevant data to handle customer service inquiries related to managing returns

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's Degree or 3 or more years of equivalent experience
* 2 or more years' experience in Customer Service oriented environment
* Knowledge of foreign retail markets
* Familiarity with major US and Canadian department stores

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

* Must be willing to work and have authorization to work in the US
* Must be willing to work overtime with short notice, especially during market

DESIRED CHARACTERISITCS:

* Proficient use of Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas, charts, etc.)
* Bi-lingual (Italian speaking a plus)
* Knowledge of EDI and Stealth inventory and shipping tracking system
* Possess strong attention to detail and can work with numbers
* Ability to be strong and enforce policy in regards to orders and shipments
