The Finance Division reports to the Chief Financial Officer and consists of. some 3,000 employees worldwide. Finance protects the Morgan Stanley franchise. by serving as guardian of the Firms books and records, and by contributing to. firm wide risk management and risk reduction. This division maintains relationships. with Morgan Stanleys various industry and government regulators, and also. serves as the conduit of financial information to the outside investment. community. Finance plays a critical role as advisor to Morgan Stanleys various. businesses and its senior management team.. Responsibilities:. Provide analytical and strategic financial decision support to Enterprise. Technology & Services (ETS) Finance and Management. Assist ETS in developing plan targets, overseeing operating and capital. budgets; review, track and aggregate budgets/forecasts. Identify risks and opportunities related to budget, forecast, estimates and. balance sheet usage. Provide transparency and insight on infrastructure technology spend through. development of analytics, metrics, and KPIs. Partner with ETS Management on workforce strategy, cost optimization and. efficiency programs. Ensure monthly reporting is accurate, delivered in a timely manner and. provide crisp, business driven insight into the financials. Manage the analysis and reporting of statistical data regarding budget costs,. actual expenses, current forecasts and other performance indicators. Ensure monthly allocations to the Business are analyzed and any issues. highlighted and resolved. Prepare ad-hoc analysis and presentations for senior management. Look for opportunities to improve or streamline existing processes/reporting. Skills. required:. BS/BA with experience in financial services or Technology. Experience in Technology Finance, Technology Business Management or relevant. experience a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with financial reporting and forecasting; financial/budget. management a plus. Strong technical skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Effective delivery and time management with ability to deliver quality. product consistently under tight deadlines. Must be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
