Overall Purpose of Job:

Create financial and various reports / presentations as well as support strategic initiatives in collaboration with relevant parties in both the Americas and Tokyo, Japan.

Essential Functions

* Co-work with internal stake holders, such as Investment Banking product lines, Finance, Global CIB Planning, Global Head / risk related divisions, and MUSA, and produce financial and various reports / presentations in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, including but not limited to;
* Create monthly financial and activities reports

* Prepare internal reports and presentation materials, such as BSC, PDCA KPIs, risk, compliance, and information security related matters
* Respond to various inquiries regarding financial performance and strategic initiatives

* Engage in special projects assigned by management to develop and implement business strategy, including but not limited to;
* Create financial data and prepare presentation materials
* Promote and coordinate initiatives in collaboration with relevant parties in the Americas and Tokyo
* Handle logistics related matters to advance projects / initiatives

Requirements Include:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* A minimum of 3 years with a major financial firm
* Finance and/or Investment Banking knowledge
* Strong organizational skills especially when faced with multiple tasks & requirements in a high pressure environment
* Experience with corporate or financial project work preferred
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Japanese-English Bilingual is a must
