Duties: On behalf of a global financial services organization, participate in full software development lifecycle by liaising with project managers, business analysts, senior developers, and testers and collaborate to deliver changes requested by stakeholders. Leverage critical analysis skills to ascertain and analyze business requirements, design suitable technical solutions, and write readable technical specification documents. Utilize Java, C#, and Object Oriented Programming methodologies to execute requirement code changes. Apply paradigms including algorithms, data structures, and design patterns to create fault-tolerant and performant solutions. Utilize knowledge of multiprocessing, multithreading, and parallel and distributed computing to build scalable solutions for requirements related to real-time and batch processing for trade capturing and reporting. Utilize knowledge of Inversion of Control, Dependency Injection, and Spring Configuration to build optimal modular and testable software. Utilize knowledge of relational databases to write performant database queries for storing, searching, and retrieving trade and associated information. Utilize Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and performance analysis tools to debug and troubleshoot code issues and benchmark and improve code performance. Utilize Source Control Software while adhering to guidelines and best practices. Provide technical and logistical solutions and contribute to code design and test coverage decision making. Apply software testing methodologies to write and execute unit and continuous integration tests to prove success changes and avoid regression. Ensure activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework, and internal company policies and standards. Contribute to technical discussions regarding system architecture and improvement of processes. Create and utilize deployment tools to release code to test live environments. Carry out level 3 support including analysis and resolution of critical production issues escalated by Run-the-Bank teams. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to facilitate consistent level of knowledge, control, and code quality. Requirements: Minimum of a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, or related field and at least three (3) years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Technology Analyst, Software Developer, Software Engineer, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in above specified fields and at least five (5) years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in above specified occupations. Will accept any amount of experience with each of the following required skills: (1) Software Development Integrated Development Environments and Source Control; (2) Object Oriented Programming and Advanced Java including Spring and Hibernate Frameworks; (3) Multiprocessing, Multithreading, and parallel and distributed computing; (4) Software algorithms, design patterns, and data structures; (5) User Interface Development; (6) Relational Databases and Database Management; (7) Test driven development in AGILE / SCRUM SDLC model.Salary Range: NAMinimum Qualification5 - 7 years
