Security Operations provides a coordinated suite of integrated functions to identify, prevent, monitor and respond to threats against customers, colleagues and the Barclays Group estate. We develop and operate tools that are used by internal groups for protecting information, understanding internal systems and networks in order to prevent attacks, and analyzing information to determine whether the organization is under attack. Security Operations is increasingly turning to a proactive and intelligence-led cyber defense to counter these attacks, making intelligence collection a critical part of the mission. Accordingly, we welcome applications from those with a military intelligence, law enforcement or intelligence agency background. What will you be doing? oLiaise with, and leverage support from, relevant collaboration and co-operation forums such as the National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA). oSource, develop, manage and respond to stakeholder intelligence requirements, with particular emphasis on those from US-based Barclays stakeholders. oMaintain expertise in the physical, fraud and cyber threat landscape faced by the bank. oCollect actionable open source intelligence from surface, dark and deep web sources using automated and manual techniques. oConduct timely and rigorous analysis of collected information to yield actionable results against stakeholder requirements. oCommunicate analysis to stakeholders in an appropriate, concise and accurate manner. oDrive collaboration between relevant UK and US-based CSO teams. oDevelop and maintain business process relating to team activity. oConduct quality assurance of intelligence product oMentor junior analytical staff. What we're looking for: oBachelor's Degree or relevant years of working/ military experience. o3+ years experience of Internet-based open source intelligence collection, analysis and reporting in surface/deep/dark web environments, utilizing overt/covert manual techniques and automated tooling. o3+ years experience navigating complex internal/external stakeholder engagement and effective liaison/collaboration skills, ideally in a threat intelligence or cyber-crime context within an international financial services firm. oAble to demonstrate applied knowledge of the legal environment concerning open source data collection and retention. o3+ experience applying hard skills and knowledge of sources, methodologies, and analytical techniques with open source intelligence collection for cyber, fraud, or physical security use cases. Skills that will help you in the role: o2+ years experience in a network defense role (e.g. cyber threat intelligence) and/or demonstrable knowledge of key network security principles. oAble to demonstrate a good grasp of fraud environment, trends, and risks affecting financial institutions. o2+ years experience of working in an investigative environment. oAble to demonstrate an understanding of physical security threats relevant to financial institutions.Salary Range: NAMinimum QualificationLess than 5 years
