Requirements*Experience and Required Skills: Requirements This position requires a minimum of a PhD in genetics or a closely related field. This experience should include: o Skills with CRISPR/Cas9 and other genome editing tools is required, o Experience with CRISPR/Cas9 genome wide libraries is preferred. o Experience in QC, read mapping, and statistical analysis of NGS data is a plus. o A high level of skills in cellular and molecular biology and biochemistry experimental techniques o Proficiency with mammalian cell culture is essential; experience with the maintenance and differentiation of embryonic stem cells is highly desired o Skills in mouse genetics, rodent handling, biological sample collection, and surgical techniques is a plus. o Scientific background including, but not limited to neurobiology and mechanisms of neurodegeneration; knowledge of protein homeostasis, protein folding, and quality control mechanisms and protein aggregation is preferred. o Keeps records up to date and shows good organization of daily tasks with attention to detail; communicates results effectively o Dedication to teamwork is essentialSalary Range: NAMinimum QualificationNot Specified years
