The Merchandiser / Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining, developing and growing sales of the LaCroix brand to all classes of trade while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and manage retail and buyer level relationships.
Achieve budgeted sales volume objectives.
Maintain a high frequency of calls and leverage the strong working relationships with retail decision makers.
Form and maintain effective partnerships across organizational boundaries.
At times, required to negotiate in a competitive or adversarial environment.
Consistently set the example of professional appearance and standards of behavior.
Execute resets in an effort to continually expand distribution and shelf space for LaCroix Sparkling Water and allied products.
Ensure all products displayed in best possible position.
Update point-of-sale material before leaving all accounts.
Focus on special needs as directed by management -- i.e. new item emphasis, market blitzes.
Communicate regularly with Area Managers regarding new sales and space opportunities.
Participate in sales meetings share ideas.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor degree in business or related field from an accredited university.
Prefer experience in the beverage or grocery industry.
Ability to demonstrate creative, aggressive sales management.
Ability to synthesize complex or diverse information.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft business applications and various reporting software.
Strong sales presentation and merchandising skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Solid business acumen, management, analytical, and problem-thinking skills.
Must be 18 years or older.
Pass the background check, drug test and physical exam.
Ability and willingness to work a flexible full time schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
Must be able to provide own transportation to various locations in organizational service areas, as required by duties.
