To provide senior-level expertise in the analysis, design, implementation, monitoring and support of enterprise-wide computer system and application security. To conduct analysis of critical information security systems, applications, network architectures, and infrastructures to detect information security deficiencies and provide complex problem resolution.
30% Provides senior-level expertise support in the analysis, design, implementation and support of enterprise-wide computer system and application security. Designs, develops and implements specific information security solutions, processes, best practices and methodologies, architecture, and technology evaluations. Analyzes e-business drivers and defines information security requirements. Consults and coordinates with project managers, business application developers and ISD staff on projects to ensure technical security design compliance, and recommends modifications. Provides technical consultation for new technology implementations. Participates in the evaluation and selection of hardware and software product standards, and the design of standard configurations for information security services. Reviews and revises systems documentation to maintain and ensure information currency.
25% Provides senior –level analysis of computer systems and applications to detect security gaps or deficiencies in the information technology environment; and recommends and implements solutions for improvement. Identifies and communicates opportunities to maximize value of information security technologies to IS management and peers to improve/increase effectiveness, reliability, efficiency, performance and service.
20% Serves as a consultant for all ISD security issues and problems. Evaluates problem, identifies root causes; coordinates resources, determines and recommends temporary measures and/or permanent solutions, and implements measures to restore full service. Participates with Information Security staff in resolving more complex situations.
15% Leads new technology evaluations and implementations of information security systems. Researches and evaluates impact of the implementation of new security measures, systems and technologies into the corporate infrastructure, ensuring security best practices are met. Maintains thorough system and application security knowledge by investigating new state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies, attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, performing technical hands-on evaluations and making recommendations to IS management. Maintains technical certifications in enterprise-wide information security competencies, network operating systems, network configuration, and tools development languages.
5% Designs, develops, and facilitates training for technical staff on information security technologies, methodologies, and best practices. Develops and maintains documentation and procedures for information security architecture.

QUALIFICATIONS -- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
•Extensive experience that demonstrates an expert knowledge and skill of information security technology focusing on (CICS/ACF2 or RACF)
•Extensive experience and expert knowledge of information security analysis and design techniques
•Expert knowledge of data security practices and procedures, including systems analysis, authentication technologies, and access controls. Priorities will be given to those with expert knowledge and skill in CICS/ACF2 or RACF, FIS Financial Systems, UNIX/Linux, LDAP, and Active Directory
•Extensive experience in project planning and resource management
•Strong planning and organizational skills
•Strong research, analytical, and problem solving skills
•Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including proficiency in negotiating and persuading others
•Ability to present findings and conclusions clearly and concisely
•Bachelor Degree in business, information technology, or related fields
•CISSP, CISA, CCSP or other related Information Security certifications
•PMP, MSCE/MCITP, Linux certifications
•Knowledge of Navy Federal operations
•Knowledge of the financial services industry
