Required:



HSD Required



2+ years' experience as an electronic technician



Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing printed circuit boards including fine pitch SMT



Excellent ability to solve complex problems



Top organizational skills and attention to detail



Wiring experience / panel preferred



Can be PT/Flex Schedule for a strong candidate



Experience and ability to isolate failures down to the sub assembly and component level. Must be able to support routine testing and manually setup and operate a variety of standard lab equipment (power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, volt meters, ohm meters, amp meters etc.Install and assemble of electronic systems based on technical specifications.



Perform system testing to evaluate performance and functionality.



Decipher complex schematics, drawings, diagrams, blueprints and instructions in order to complete installation or practice troubleshooting of electronics systems, parts or wiring networks.



Record information and results about product or electronic performance by detailing testing methods, documenting possible issues and listing part specifications. Recommend upgrades and modifications to improve system performance.



Partner with mechanical or electrical engineers to fine tune the repair and diagnostic process in the work environment.



Diagnose and repair problems with malfunctioning circuitry networks, ineffective electronic pieces, and missing or inoperative parts.



Maintain all equipment and components by performing scheduled maintenance tasks, ensuring calibration of equipment and scheduling replacement when needed.



Communicate with customers, team members, engineers or management to determine possible problems or update individuals with work progress.



Improve understanding and expertise in the field by regularly attending workshops, classes, conferences and training sessions in electronics and engineering.



Operate power and manual tools safely to avoid accidents.



Make cable and wiring connections accurately.



Maintain inventory control of electronic components and tools.



Maintain documentations of system installation and maintenance procedures.



Develop prototypes for feasibility analysis and make product presentations.



Mentor and guide other Technicians when required.



Report completed and ongoing tasks to Supervisor on daily basis.
