The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. is seeking a Project Assistant for the following project: the project is a 4-year renewal for a multi-generational, 30 year longitudinal study of families at high and low-risk for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). The project has previously yielded important findings on the familial transmission of mood disorders and the neurobiological correlates of these processes. This renewal extends the study to incorporate a framework informed by the NIMH RDoC initiative, and to test whether three RDoC constructs (namely, acute threat, approach motivation, and response inhibition) serve as mechanisms (mediators) through which family history leads to adult functional outcomes and symptom trajectories.

Duties/Responsibilities: Manage and troubleshoot existing research databases under the supervision of the senior data manager. Program custom SQL queries to exact data that meet the analytic needs of various research investigators. Analyze and present data summaries in tabular and graphic formats.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in computer science, statistics or related field. Good written and communication skills.

To apply: Submit an application with cover letter and resume by April 3, 2019 through our website Only applications submitted through the RFMH website will be accepted.
