With the Global Services division, starting Jan-2012, Open Systems has expanded into the ITO & BPO Projects/Solutions business.Job DescriptionAsset Management Technology is currently seeking a Sr. Systems Analyst to provide full life cycle analysis, development, support and complex problem resolution that meets customer requirements and SLAs. The candidate should possess a working knowledge of the Derivatives business and the Murex system and will work as part of an IT support team with other technology leaders, development staff and technical/business analysts to create technical solutions for the support of Derivatives products across the Asset Management IT Infrastructure. The individual will communicate progress, technical issues, and issue resolutionResponsibilitiesDeliver end to end application solution components on time and within budget that meet the stated business needs , and conform to IT methodologies and Data Management practices Create Project Documentation / SOX artifacts (e.g., Solution Definition Document (SDD), Technical Design Document (TDD), Integration Test Plan) that meet SDLC standards Lead others in conforming to corporate and IT standards and directives while embracing the future direction of Information Technology to successfully execute technical efforts Conduct Code Reviews to ensures code is compliant with IT best practices Conduct formal Integration Testing (IT) and ensure testing is compliant with the approved integrations test plan and expected results Create and execute implementation plan for technical deliverables as well as providing production support Uses business knowledge to support business case development that leverage the appropriate level of qualitative and quantitative information to support business objectives Document the technical requirements, design, and testing information to ensure quality output that meets stated business needs Identify and support resolution of risks that could impact ability to deliver results within the stated objectives Understand and manage the effect of change (regulatory, market or Client internal) on business processes, IT solutions and tools Able to work evenings and weekends to support production releases and break fixRequired Qualifications:6-8 years of experience working at an Asset Manager or Insurance Company.Knowledge of the Murex derivatives system in all or most of the followingareas:o Accountingo Pre-Trade workflowo Post-Trade workflowo Datamarto RTBSo Murex Integration LayerAsset Management Skills: Working knowledge of Fixed Income securities, CDS, IRS, CFD, Currency Swaps, Equity Swaps, Collateral management, Dodd-Frank Clearing.Technical Skills Murex v3.1, UNIX shell scripting, Java, XML, MQ, MQFTE, Autosys, Sterling Integrator, Datastage ETL, Oracle, SFTP, HTTP, Tomcat, SVN, FpML.
