With the Global Services division, starting Jan-2012, Open Systems has expanded into the ITO & BPO Projects/Solutions business.Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesAnalyze project and/or change documentation (BRD, FRD, TDD, CR) to determine test requirements at the application/functional levelCreate detailed test cases focused on the functional changes and regression requirements for application/function assignedDetermine and obtain appropriate test data to support test case execution Proactively communicate and collaborate with test teams and support partnersProvide application test requirements and contribute to the Detailed Test Plan(s) for area of responsibilityParticipate and drive test execution of application/function test cases according to test plan and scheduleResponsible for defect detection, reporting and tracking; including collaboration on defect resolutions with developers/partners and identification of retest requirements Responsible for test status reporting for test assignmentsConduct post test execution wrap up activities per procedure/requirements Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates that meet SDLC standardsParticipate in scrum events: Daily Stand up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective.Requirements 4-6 years of experience working as an QA analyst in the financial services industry.
