In this role, you will be responsible for our Risk Adjustment coding efforts. You will code charts, manage contracted coders, and interact with auditors, vendors and providers to evaluate and improve medical record documentation. The position involves project management in addition to actual coding of medical records, and acting as an internal expert for all coding questions.

We are looking for a Certified Coder with 5+ years of experience coding medical records, preferably including inpatient coding and RADV, who is also a capable project manager.

* Have experience coding inpatient and outpatient charts for risk adjustment * Know how to manage vendor relationships * Are comfortable interacting with provider offices to retrieve charts for auditing * Have ideas about how to educate providers on coding quality * Have experience setting up new workflows and managing projects * Are comfortable managing temporary contractors * Are organized and detail-oriented * Are intimately familiar with ICD-10 CM Expert and other AAPC guidelines * Can write and update guidelines for risk adjustment medical record coding that are consistent with RADV standards
