My client is a very well-known Essex County firm. The candidate will report directly to the Managing Director in the areas of HR compliance, Employee Relations, and Facilities management. The position will oversee all HR management processes for the Firm's attorneys, paralegals, and support staff, including the annual evaluation and compensation cycles, recruitment, and Facilities management.
Provide clear and consistent advice to the Managing Director in all areas of HR and Employee Relations
Oversee and coordinate recruiting efforts. Write advertising, work closely with search firms and agencies.
Prepare job descriptions.
Oversee onboarding of new attorneys and staff.
Represent the Firm for any unemployment matters
Monitor staffing levels.
Remain current on changes to Federal and State Labor laws.
Oversee secretarial workflow.
Manage space initiatives and insure that all office space is \"client ready\" at all times.
Bachelor's degree required. HR certification(PHR, SPHR) preferred.
Microsoft Office proficiency
Ten years of HR experience with 5 years in a management role.
Previous experience in the Legal industry preferred, or any other similar professional services organization
