Position Summary:. Responsible for the process to achieve sales goals for the Exosome Diagnostics Epi test and subsequent products in the United States. Develops and directs the national sales team and ensures compliance with all applicable laws and company policies. This leader will implement and oversee: pipeline management, forecasting, lead management, expense tracking, sales training and use of our CRM tool.. Key Responsibilities:. Meets and/or exceeds overall sales goals and quotas as assigned by Exosome Diagnostics; maintains an active selling role with key accounts, key accounts and key opinion leaders.. Develops and directs the Sales process to support the management team; provides overall direction for staffing and development of key resources to ensure effective allocation of human resources.. Builds a culture of accountability and performance management within the US sales organization to ensure the commercial objectives within the U.S. are met.. Develops the business plan for the assigned products to meet or exceed area financial sales and marketing objectives. Creates and manages intelligence gathering capability for the area marketplace to ensure that objectives are met.. Participates in strategic planning by providing market insights, trends, competitive activity and conditions. Recommends changes to strategic and tactical sales plans. Analyzes and reports changing needs within the sales organization for training, sales programs and field assets. Prepares sales forecasts and provides input on competitor and pricing requirements.. Ensures the sales team and sales management always operates in a highly ethical manner and compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.. Directs the interface of assigned products and marketing strategies; ensures customer expectations are exceeded; develops business plan that fits continually changing marketplace.. Prepares, administers and controls expense budgets as part of overall profits.. Provides Exosome Diagnostics with reporting as required, covering business issues, performance results, research and development ideas, product performance, reliability and customer service issues.. Coaches, develops and ensures focus and alignment with functional and company goals. Performs talent management and assessment requirements for team.. Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Handbook and follows all guidelines regarding safety as outlined in applicable company resources.. Performs additional duties as assigned.. Qualifications. Education and Experience:. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business or Marketing required. MBA preferred;. Minimum ten (10) years' experience in sales management within the diagnostics industry (preferably the Urology market). This should include proven success in achieving sales objectives, building, developing and managing a successful sale team.. Highly ethical, dynamic, results-oriented leadership with well-developed communication skills;. Budget oversight, forecasting and sales improvement skills. Demonstrated experience with SalesForce.com, automated expense tracking and knowledge of pipeline management.. Overall ability to problem solve and generate solutions to advance needed work
