Palliative Medicine at **Penn State Health Milton S\\. Hershey Medical Center** , Penn State College of Medicine \\(Hershey, PA\\) seeks a Palliative Care Physician Assistant\\. The successful candidate will join a well\\-established inpatient interdisciplinary consult team, with optional outpatient opportunities\\. The team enjoys flexible scheduling, strong institutional relationships and opportunities for continued growth\\. Collaborating physicians are board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine\\.
**JOB SUMMARY:**
Responsible for assisting physicians in the medical care and management of patients, performing such functions as making rounds, physical examinations, and other patient examinations, injections, care of wounds, arranging for patient referrals\\.
You will provide inpatient consultation including symptom management and establishing goals of care
Opportunities for inter\\-professional teaching and learning
Weekday Schedule
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**
Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of Pennsylvania required
National Certification in Pennsylvania or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania required
Experience caring for adults with serious illness preferred
