Responsible for the operation and management of the corporate facility
complex of 3 buildings covering 300,000 square feet and associated
grounds. Provides leadership and management for a combination on
in-sourced and contracted functions to include: facility operation and
maintenance, building systems maintenance, grounds maintenance,
occupational safety and emergency preparedness programs, food service,
furniture management, room setups and moves; custodial services,
security, central reception, shipping/receiving, mail services, and
parking services. Manages the administrative aspects of operational
and capital budgeting, planning, and organization.
Responsibilities also include customer service and asset protection.
Prioritizes and delegates work and activities. Utilizes software for
various Operations and Maintenance procedures. Provides employee
training and resources to ensure compliance with system and regulatory
permits and requirements. Provides leadership for the facilities
capital program, including strategic planning, budgeting, and project
execution. Establishes short and long range financial planning for
operating budgets.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field with 7
years of related experience required.
5 years of management responsibility experience required.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Good computer skills.
Project development and management skills.
Ability to collect, manage, analyze and report data.
Ability to learn, understand and stay current with regulatory
Basic budgeting skills.
Knowledge of equipment, operating and maintenance, tolerances,
limitations and efficiencies of building and mechanical systems.
Master's Degree preferred.
Corporate facilities management related experience preferred.
