The Manager of Payroll is responsible for managing the Payroll and Time & Attendance functions for Penn State Health and all subsidiaries and their associated local payroll and compensation policies and practices. A successful Payroll Manager will manage various systems related to:
* Lawson Payroll,
* Kronos Workforce Central
* BSI Tax Factory
* MHC Document Express (W-2)
The Payroll Manager will also be responsible for configuration, troubleshooting, upgrades, testing, implementation of new modules, and development of reporting and management information within the integrated health system.
In addition to the technical aspects of the job, you will provide enterprise leadership for payroll, payroll tax compliance, preparation of payroll tax returns. Work with external tax consultants to provide information for various NFP tax returns for Penn State Health and subsidiaries. The manager will also plan and manage the payroll integration of acquisitions into Penn State Health payroll systems. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience within a Payroll leadership position
Previous experience with Lawson Add-ins and Crystal Reports
Project Management and Analytical skills MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree required
5 years of experience in a payroll function required BENEFITS
