Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking an

energetic and team-focused Transplant Assistant to join our team!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The transplant assistant serves as the first line resource for

patients and assists in facilitating the patient through the advanced

heart failure process. Triage a high volume of challenging patient,

provider, and emergent calls. Escalate urgent issues and results to

the coordinators and providers. Triage phone calls and faxes for the

team and support advanced heart failure operations.

A vital role in ensuring that department operations run smoothly, the

transplant assistant assists transplant coordinators with material and

chart preparation, scheduling of studies and consults, retrievals of

studies, tracking and organizing information into the database to

ensure accurate and timely documentation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates Degree OR 2 years of experience in a medical office setting

required
