JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to manage the Payroll and Time & Attendance functions for Penn State Health and all subsidiaries and their associated local payroll and compensation policies and practices. Manage various systems related to Payroll, Lawson Payroll, Kronos Workforce Central, BSI Tax Factory, MHC Document Express (W-2), including configuration, troubleshooting, upgrades, testing, implementation of new modules, development of reporting and management information within the integrated health system. Provide enterprise leadership for payroll, payrolltax compliance, preparation of payrolltax returns. Work with external tax consultants to provide information for various NFP tax returns for Penn State Health and subsidiaries. Plan and manage the payroll integration of acquisitions into PSH payroll systems. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree required 5 years of experience in a payroll function required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: Effective written and verbal communication skills for all levels in the organization required. Project management and analytical skills. Lead, organize and mobilize personnel; ability to understand system configuration and database content; ability to understand complex processes and system needs and identify software solutions; experience and skills with data analysis and reporting tools such as Access, Crystal Reports and Lawson Addins; research and interpretation of payroll and tax regulations.
